GridField Sourcing keeps the brief with the buyer

This page describes an independent sourcing partner. GridField Sourcing does not claim manufacturer status or authorized dealer status. It does not publish a plant history, a headcount or a customer total, because those figures are not held as evidence for this desk.

Buyer and coordinator marking a module plan, not a factory tour

A procurement sequence, not a company chronology

The nodes below are the order of work on a brief. They are not founding dates and they are not a claim that a factory was visited.

  1. 01

    Capture the reference search

The buyer may arrive from a named modular-building brand. The note records that reference as a comparison topic and then switches to use, occupancy and location.

  2. 02

    Lock dimensions and loads

Footprint, height, design live load and any known wind, snow or seismic criteria are written before suppliers are asked to price. Missing criteria stay marked missing.

  3. 03

    Name the scope boundary

Shell, delivered, installed and turnkey are chosen as labels. Foundation, utilities and permits are assigned to a party or left open.

  4. 04

    Collect quotations on that boundary

Suppliers reply against the same note. GridField Sourcing lines up the answers. The buyer decides which deviation is acceptable.

Boundaries that stay in force

No original-brand supply

A search term is not an order for that brand goods. Alternatives are requested from other producers when the buyer wants a comparison.

No borrowed certificates

AISC 360, AWS D1.1, IAS AC472 and ISO 9001 appear only as documents to request for the quoted system, plant and jurisdiction.

No invented office

This desk does not list a street address or a telephone switchboard. The reply path is the email written on the form.

No saved-percentage claim

Without a paired, same-scope quotation file, GridField Sourcing will not state that a buyer pays less by a named percent.

Buyer keeps the decision

Code path, substitution and contract award stay with the buyer and the licensed professionals they hire. The desk coordinates questions.

Catalog is not inventory

Names on the product page are inquiry options inside the selected categories. Configuration, availability and documentation must be confirmed by the supplier.

Cold-formed steel houses, hot-rolled rigid frames and volumetric modules can all appear in a US project conversation. The about page does not rank them. It only insists that the brief say which system is being priced, which loads apply, and which party owns the foundation interface.

If the open issue is a load case, the Specification Center is the worksheet. If the open issue is which family to name on the form, start at Product Systems. If the open issue is how two prices should be lined up, the scope review shows the columns.

Optional budget text may name a USD range and a per-unit or whole-order basis. A preference for a premium, mid-range or budget-friendly supplier is stored as a request. It does not mean GridField Sourcing has scored that supplier. Undecided is a valid preference.

Write the brief this desk can actually send

Include use, dimensions, known loads, jurisdiction, quantity and destination. Leave unknown lines blank rather than copying a figure from a brand page.
