Use before product family
Classroom, site office, camp dormitory and equipment shelter do not share one floor load or one exit path. The use is written first so the product family is a consequence, not a slogan.
FREE sourcing support, up to 3%. Eligibility applies to qualified business buyers and is confirmed after we review your product, quantity, destination, and sourcing requirements.
Independent alternative sourcing
GridField Sourcing is an independent sourcing partner for business buyers who start with a portakabin search and need comparable modular or portable buildings. This desk is not portakabin and is not affiliated with portakabin. GridField Sourcing does not claim manufacturer status or authorized dealer status, and it compares alternative products rather than offering the named brand.
A usable brief names the building use, module dimensions, design loads, code jurisdiction, quantity, destination and whether the quotation is shell, delivered, installed or turnkey. Those fields are how factory replies become comparable. A brand name alone does not set wind speed, ground snow load or the foundation interface.
Classroom, site office, camp dormitory and equipment shelter do not share one floor load or one exit path. The use is written first so the product family is a consequence, not a slogan.
Length, width and height are recorded in the unit the buyer will build from. A published catalog size is an inquiry option until the transport envelope and the site gate are both checked.
Design live load, design dead load, wind speed, wind exposure category, ground snow load and seismic design category stay blank when the buyer has not supplied them. They are not guessed from a brand page.
Primary frame, secondary framing, purlin and girt spacing, insulated metal panel and thermal transmittance are supplier statements for the quoted system. This desk does not stamp them as approved.
Shell, delivered, installed and turnkey are kept as separate columns. A lower shell number is not treated as a lower completed building.
Drawings, calculations, weld procedure references and a quality-system certificate are requested against the quoted plant and the project jurisdiction. IBC, IRC and HUD Code are not interchangeable labels.
The rows below are buyer-defined alternatives inside two catalog families. They are not stock, not a signed factory list, and not a compatibility claim for any named brand. Open a row to place the name into the inquiry dialog.
A finished box whose transport envelope, crane lift plan and module-to-module joint have to be named before price lines are compared.
A relocatable office whose floor area, occupancy and electrical rough-in must be stated so a refurbished unit is not compared with a new shell by accident.
A camp count is beds, sanitary rooms and a kitchen or a dining link, plus the utilities the buyer will bring to the pad.
Fixture count, waste connection and a winterization note belong in the brief. A unit photo does not answer those lines.
Open the application notes when the use, not the brand label, should drive the next draft.
GridField Sourcing will pass the same use, dimensions, loads, jurisdiction, quantity, destination and scope label to the suppliers you want compared. No percentage saving is stated here, because this desk has no paired quotation file of its own.
